Editor's Comment

Thank you to everyone that contributed to this newsletter. The goal of the newsletter is to keep chapters apprised of the status of fellow chapters. I only heard from a few chapters prior to submitting this but look forward to hearing from more in the future. I believe a majority of ATRA members are not aware this communication exists therefore I ask you to spread the word. Chapters are doing very exciting things every day to help advance the profession. This newsletter can serve as a resource for struggling chapters, to draw from, in order to generate ideas to continue to grow their organizations. Making our Therapeutic Recreation World smaller will create for more consistency in our chapters as well as the quality of care we deliver as professionals.

In order for this newsletter to reach its potential we need participation from all chapters. As editor it’s my responsibility to facilitate that. I will encourage your CAC liaison to contact your chapter representative prior to the next newsletter. Feel free to contact me with any questions regarding your chapter or the Chapter Affiliate Council.
