Chapter Summaries

ITRA

Moved the site of the annual conference to the University of Northern Iowa which was well received. The facility lends itself to a diversity of topics to present on such as utilizing the aquatics facility and rock climbing facility. ITRA has a strong pool of longstanding chapter member involvement.

ITRA developed a website which has proven to be successful in providing information to the membership re: job opportunities and Board information.

Has a networking committee established to address membership needs in different regions.
Legislative committee consists of 6 members. This committee has identified primary areas of concern and is working on a strategic plan. The committee will then organize visits with state legislators to address TR.
Several members have been working on By-laws revisions.

Board members are working on an organizational strategic plan to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats and goals.
