GENERAL CEU DESCRIPTION

ATRA has been approved as an Authorized Provider of continuing education and training programs by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). Granting CEUs requires that certain criteria and guidelines be met in accordance with IACET standards. ATRA’s CEU application process meets these guidelines which is the reason ATRA has received IACET’s highest level of recognition- Authorized Provider. For this reason, ATRA is an excellent choice to provide CEUs for your workshop or conference.

ATRA provides each CEU participant with an official “transcript” following the workshop. The transcript provides a detailed account of participant and workshop information and includes the total number of CEUs awarded, the title of the session(s), date, location, and specific information required for recertification through the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC). This format and the CEU transcripts can also be useful to other allied healthcare and activity professionals.

ATRA grants CEUs to participants of your workshop, but ATRA does not sponsor it by providing these CEUs. For more detailed information on ATRA’s CEU Provider Workshops, see the ATRA CEU Planning Guide on this website.
