The Administrative Coordinator will provide
national coordination for Alliance projects
and Board of Directors’ activities. These
currently include Project GAIN and the various
Board of Directors’ approved committees.
Other essential duties include scheduling and

flow of all types of communication about the
Alliance; and initiating and assisting Board
members in raising funds for the National Alliance
for Accessible Golf. This is a full time position

The Therapeutic
Recreation Program in the School of Health,
Exercise and Recreation at the Southern Institute
of Technology in Invercargill New Zealand invites
applications for a Lecture/Tutor in Therapeutic
Recreation (TR).
Responsibilities
will include: managing the TR Center; teaching/supervising
all field based courses; teaching TR Interventions./Leisure
Education as part of the TR Center; assist with
student recruitment and retention activities;
assist with the evaluation and continuous improvement
of the Therapeutic Recreation Program; engage
in research activities that contribute to SIT’s
academic objectives.
Qualifications
include: doctorate preferred, (a master’s
degree required) with at least one degree in
Therapeutic Recreation; Certified Therapeutic
Recreation Specialist required; significant
experience in the Therapeutic Recreation field;
teaching experience is desirable with opportunities
for teacher training.
The academic
year will begin on February 16, 2004 and ends
November 26 2004. Starting date is negotiable
between January 5 and January 31, 2004.
