Team Mission: To represent the association and the profession to the JCAHO by participating in standards development and revisions and provide education of such to the ATRA membership.

Board Direction Statement 2007: Continue to influence standards development and broadcast positive outcomes to the membership as a recruitment tool. Develop a strategy for maintaining a recreational therapy presence under the JCAHO “Shared Vision, New Pathways” standards revision process. Develop and implement a process to incorporate the treatment networks and standards review process.
