Team Mission: To develop an aggressive plan for ATRA to emerge as a leader in Recreational Therapy research nationwide and abroad by supporting development of a plan to implement the ATRA Research Agenda.

Board Direction Statement 2007: To encourage those involved in recreational therapy research to engage in efficacy research that supports the ATRA research agenda. To increase the amount and quality of collaborative efficacy research supporting the ATRA research agenda. To coordinate with the ATRA Board, ATR Foundation, and Clinical Practice Guidelines Team to promote research consistent with the ATRA research agenda. To coordinate and promote the Research Institute at the Annual Conference.
