President Signs Assistive Technology Act
On October 25,
2004, President Bush signed the Assistive Technology
Act of
2004. There was no
signing ceremony. The President’s Press
Secretary issued a statement listing several
bills that the President signed into law – the
Tech Act was among them.
This represents a great victory for people with
disabilities and for many CCD organizations who
worked long and hard on this effort.
Congratulations to all who helped make this happen.
