(Alexandria, VA) ATRA Member Kari Clohosey, CTRS has been invited to present at the prestigious 13th Annual Renfrew Center conference” Feminist Perspectives and Beyond: The Changing Face of Eating Disorders” November 13-16, 2003 in Philadelphia, PA. Her presentation, titled, ‘Healing Re-Percussions’ is the only program offered by a recreational therapist and will provide experiential insight into unique treatment interventions using percussion and rhythm activities to restore individual and healing communities. Clohosey’s is the only presentation offered by a recreational therapist during the conference.

Clohosey, a 1998 graduate of the University of Southern Maine’s therapeutic recreation program, has been employed with the New England Eating Disorders program (NEED) in Portland, Maine for the last five years.
