Recreational Therapy Recognized as Allied Health Profession of the Month

(Alexandria, VA) Recreational Therapy has been recognized as the Allied Health Profession of the Month for the month of July. The Allied Health Profession of the Month is a program coordinated through the Health Professions Network (HPN). Recognition as the Allied Health Profession of the Month is an honor for the recreational therapy profession and coincides with the nationally recognized month of July to celebrate the profession. The official celebration for recreational therapy is the week of July 11-18, 2004 however many recreational therapy professionals chose to celebrate the entire month of July.
