ATRA CELEBRATES ITS 20TH ANNIVERSARY

The American Therapeutic Recreation Association will celebrate its 20th Anniversary in the city where ATRA began. The Annual Conference is being held September 30 to October 4, 2004 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Over the past 20 years, ATRA has grown as an organization of 30 to 3,000 members. ATRA’s focus on advocacy, treatment, research and advancement of recreational therapy have made it a leader in the field of recreation therapy.

This year’s conference will be a time of remembering the past and recognizing those who have contributed to the profession. It will also be a time of growing for the future, as new interventions, programs, advocacy and initiatives are shared.

Don’t miss the opportunity to be a part of and experience ATRA’s history.
