According to Thompson, the Congressman is a leading advocate on health issues in the United States House of Representatives. Thompson states, “We are very excited to have him join our Board in this advisory capacity.”

John Peterson was first elected to serve Pennsylvania's Fifth Congressional District in 1996. Congressman Peterson is very invested in health care issues and is the leader in Congress specifically on rural health care issues.
