ATRA Announces Photo Contest
“Through the Eyes of Recreational Therapy”

ATRA is sponsoring a photo contest to collect photos that represent the essence and practice of the recreational therapy profession. Capture your practice, treatment interventions and patient interactions that reflect what recreational therapy is all about. These photos will be used in ATRA publications and marketing materials, and will be made available for ATRA memberships use.

Submissions are due by September 1, 2004 and must include the following:
1. Entry form (see below).
2. Photo/confidentiality release (available for download on the ATRA website, by calling the ATRA office at 703.683.9420, or your agency form may be submitted).

Judging/selection of photos will take place at the 2004 Annual Conference in Kansas City. Winners will be selected by a panel, and with several prizes being awarded. First place receives a complimentary one year professional membership, second place an ATRA polo shirt and publication, third place an ATRA polo shirt. All place winners and honorable mention recipients will be recognized in the ATRA newsletter.

*A signed photo/confidentiality consent form must accompany all photos. For individuals under 18 years old, a parent or guardian must sign this granting permission for use of the photo. Photos submitted without this form will not be considered in the contest.
