American Therapeutic Recreation Association

State Public Policy Team – State Survey

Introduction
In an effort to better serve ATRA members and the recreational therapy profession, the ATRA State Public Policy Team has developed this survey to determine the extent to which ATRA members are aware of Public Policy issues in their respective states. The State Public Policy Team hopes to learn of all the issues facing ATRA members as well as the specific action being taken at the state or chapter level.

The results of the survey will be analyzed and the State Public Policy Team will use the information for strategic planning which includes the dispersal of this information to ATRA members who may benefit from it in their respective states.

The ATRA State Public Policy Team is established to assist ATRA members in achieving recognition for recreational therapy through state legislation. If you are interested in joining the ATRA State Public Policy monthly conference calls, please contact the ATRA national office.
