Introduction
The ATRA Board
of Directors initiated the strategic planning process
in 1990 with input from chapter affiliates, committees
and task forces. Every year, this planning process
has become more sophisticated and progressive in providing
vision and leadership to the Association and profession.
Every year during
the Association's three meetings, the ATRA Board
of Directors revisits the strategic plan to ensure
the goals and objectives are consistent with policy
and established directions. The plan outlines Board
policy, direction and vision for the Association
with an active component and implementation role
maintained by each chapter affiliate, committee
and task force.
This document is
dynamic and should be viewed as a constant "work
in progress" reflecting the status of this
maturing organization.
